Accessibility Information

Cherry House Bed & Breakfast does not offer any handicap-accessible accommodations since the establishment is located within a facility that contains not more than five rooms for rent or hire and that is occupied by the proprietor of the establishment as the residence of the proprietor. (5 U.S.C. 301; 28 U.S.C. 509, 510; 42 U.S.C. 12186(b). § 36.104 Definitions). However, we are committed to doing whatever we reasonably can to make our property accessible; therefore, we have added the following accessible features: 

• Parking is available near the rooms. Luggage assistance is also available.
• Grab bars in the bathrooms.
• Robin’s Nest has room to maneuver a wheel chair or walker.

Main House

• There are 5 steps with a railing to enter the Main House.
• The first-floor bedroom (Seashore) has universal design grab bars and room for a
• walker. 
• The 2nd floor guest room (Scotland) requires one flight of stairs.
• There is no elevator.
• Once in the house, all first-floor rooms are accessible with a walker or wheelchair.
• There is a small step to the front porch.

Eastman Cottage

• The first-floor room (Robin’s Nest) has universal design grab bars and room for a walker
• or wheelchair.
• The 2nd floor rooms require traveling one flight of stairs. There is no elevator.
• Once in the Cottage, all rooms are accessible with a walker or wheelchair.
• There are 5 steps to enter the Cottage.
